Getting to Cluj Napoca

The conference centre is 80km away from Cluj-Napoca. There are however trains that can take you from Cluj-Napoca to Valea Draganului. From there we will have mini-busses to collect you and take you to the conference centre.

Travel from Cluj-Napoca to Valea Draganului

The easiest would be that those who arrive Cluj by train and flight, can purchase a train ticket from Cluj to Valea Draganului. This ticket can only be purchased at Cluj train station upon departure. The price for one ticket is 50.000 lei (around 1,5 Euro). The train-times from Cluj station are as following:

If someone would like to take a taxi from Cluj to Valea Draganului (or from the airport), the price would be around 60-80 Euros. IMPORTANT: This price must be negociated before departure.

Arriving by car from Cluj-Napoca: Go on the main road towards the city of Oradea. After 76 km, take left on road nr 634b, with a road sign saying “Valea Draganului”. Cross the railways, drive on this way 5-6 km through the village. When you are to get out of the village, take right up the hill on an asphalted road. Go on this road 600 meters, and you’ll be there.
